Pasquinet XO Cognac: an Aromatic Masterpiece
This Premier Cru Cognac has been crafted to show an authentic personality, after many years of ageing in oak barrels in the heart of the Ricard family’s 100-year-old cellars. Steeped in tradition, Pasquinet XO Cognac has matured for over a decade to achieve outstanding flavors of candied fruit and chocolate, complemented by stunning floral aromas. The long and demanding process of selecting, ageing and blending their most promising Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie has paid off - the result is a full, velvety Cognac that is sure to impress connoisseurs and amateurs alike.
The House of Pasquinet was founded by Jean Ricard, an entrepreneur who moved to Cognac to undertake renovation projects for several Cognac makers. He soon feel in love with the art of making Cognac and purchased the Domaine Du Foucaudat, a small estate in Juillac Le Coq, where he set out to perfect his distiller skills. After World War II, Jean’s two children Gilbert and Jeannette took over the familly business and created the Pasquinet brand name. Their Cognac was very well received, which led to the family building a bottling plant near their estate. Over the years, the company continued growing, and is still in the hands of the Ricard family today with Nicolas Ricard at the helm.

Extra Old Grande Champagne blends like this deserve attention: pour gently into a tulip glass and let it rest for 30 seconds before taking a sip. To allow the aromas to open up further, a small dash of mineral water could be added.
